Shows

EHA organises 4 flower and produce shows a year and visitors to the shows can see the displays of flowers, pot plants, fruit, vegetables, cookery, handicraft, photography and wonderful floral art creations.  


There are refreshments with home made cakes available and stalls selling

plants/bulbs, gardening sundries, floral art accessories, greetings cards, a

raffle, and competitions that juniors can enter.            

All talks are held at Bourne Hall, Ewell, Surrey KT17 1UF at 8.00pm

Entrance fee - members £3.00 / Visitors £4.00

Ian Tilbury will give a talk 'All about badgers' following the AGM at 7:30pm

  Tuesday 11th April

Julian Huxley will give a talk about birds of prey and bring some along.

Tues 9th May 2016

Paul Patton will give a talk entitled 'Show Time! behind the scenes at RHS shows Chelsea and Hampton Court

Tues 12th September

Francis Halstead will give a talk on the 'Wild life of Surrey, important sights and hidden gems

2017 Trips

28th April - A day trip to Borde Hill in Sussex together with Southon Plants, a small nursery in Surrey.


30th June - 3rd July A visit to several gardens in the Derbyshire area and stay three nights at the Hallmark Hotel Derby Midland.


19th July - A day trip to a five acre private garden in Kent called Timbers, and also Great Comp which has a well known salvia nursery.


23rd August - A day trip to Cranborne Manor in Dorset which also has a very good garden centre


We also hope to arrange another Christmas lunch as previous ones have proved popular and are currently looking at possible venues
